Traditional Upholstery Courses

Enjoy the absorbing and rewarding craft of traditional upholstery by joining us on one of our courses in the relaxed and tranquil setting of the barn workshop at the Grade 2 Listed Trevilvas Farmhouse on the beautiful Trewithen Estate near Truro in Cornwall.

We offer a choice of 5-day courses, and courses accredited by the Association of Master Upholsterers and Soft Furnishers leading to the award of Craft Certificate Level 2 and 3.

We are delighted to announce that to complement our accredited craft certificate courses, we have arranged an extra-curricular day with textile designer Ismini Samanidou who has kindly agreed to give a presentation on textiles and weaving to our students.

Ismini, who is a lecturer on the BA Honours Textile Design Course at University College Falmouth exhibits her work internationally, and has just returned from a British Council residency in Bangladesh teaching textile technologists at the technical textile college in Dhaka.
